Jim and Ruth Sharon are dedicated to guiding people in developing attitudes and skills to make life more enjoyable, healthy, productive and meaningful. The couple created Energy for Life to provide wellness-based counseling and consulting services - including spiritual development practices, yoga, meditation and family programs - to people in the Denver metro area.
As true pioneers in the wellness and holistic health movement, Jim and Ruth founded and directed The Greeley Center for Human Development, Inc. in 1976, bringing health practitioners and community members together in a new way. In 1980, Jim and Ruth became charter members of the Colorado Holistic Health Network and members of the wellness consulting team of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, offering state and national presentations on different areas of wellness.
Energy for Life began its life as the AFDA Group, Inc., which was founded in 1989 to provide conflict resolution training and consultation based on Ruth's original model.
Through their work as psychotherapists, coaches, teachers and consultants for more than three decades, Jim and Ruth have helped thousands of people. Married since 1970, the Sharons have three adult children and a granddaughter. |
